While this scope has many great features, what sets it apart from the pack is the 6" of eye relief. This lets you mount the scope a very comfortable distance away from your eyes. Coupled with the very large objective, you can use this scope with both eyes open just like a scout scope.

As many others have stated, the clarity and light gathering of this scope is amazing. Basically, if you can see it with your eyes, you can see it with the scope. The adjustment dials are finger adjustable and the markings are clear and readable. The fast focus ring is a great feature also.

Only real downside is the size and weight of this scope. The picture does it no justice. This thing is just shy of 14 inches long. It has weight to match also. You will want to mount this on a lightweight sporter rifle to offset the weight. Thankfully my M44 is sporterized and was light. Now it has it's original heft back which is good for recoil.

Considering the price, this is one hell of a good scope.

I bought this for my father-in-law for his 22 magnum rifle. He hasn't had any complaints. Probably because it's the same scope that is on the .270 I use and I believe it's even the same as what's on his 30-30. It's an awesome simple scope. We hunt in deep woods so we don't need anything fancy with tons of tick marks or range finder capabilities. Most shots are under 150yds. It truly is a great dawn/dusk scope. We have to stop hunting 1/2 hour after sunset and can't shoot 1/2 hour before and this gives you great visibility to those limits even in thick woods. I've even been able to spot some deer I can hear but can't see with my naked eye before it gets light enough.

Bottom line, it's a good trusty scope that truly has good light for dawn and dusk as advertised. And if you take care of it, it will last forever.

Good thing first. It seems sturdy, matte black solid looking with see through protective cover lenses with a hue color on the rear cover lens. Though they are not a flip cover lens. It’s 6 inch eye relief; I measured it. Crosshair reticle is classic but sharp. I don’t know what it meant by Multi-X reticle. The manual doesn’t explain what that meant either, so to my shallow brain it is just a classic crosshair. The magnificent ring is tight enough. The objective lens is fixed parallax, not adjustable as expected at this price.
Now is the ranting. The blue sticker Dusk&Dawn Optics at the eye piece kills the aesthetic. Where is the simple and elegant -0+? I thought it below the sticker and peeled it off. Not there! Next are the cheap look and feel tin can elevation and windage caps. My consolation is the Bushnell logo on the side of the caps👍. Inside the caps, the turrets have no index dot to set zero for the caps once I sighted in.
This scope is my replacement for a Barska of the same size. In fact, they are incredibly identical look if not for the logos, down to the see through protective lenses cover, even the green hue color. The Barska has been on the 7.62x39 for close to 20 years and still hold zero and accuracy is out to 200 yards max. But I am curious about the “low light” things for this Bushnell and so the purchase is made. I am now suspicious of they are re-badged in a Chinese sweatshop. I have not mounted it on my workhorse Saiga yet so can’t tell you more. A comparable price but better quality scope that I missed the sale is Vortex Iron Peak, when it was $99 at a local outdoor store.

My son and I each ordered one for our deer rifles, My scope looked good . took it to Cabelas for mount and bore sight. Height adjustment did not work. I called customer service {Their extremely nice}. I was sent A second one, which had a chip in the Glass. Followed all the procedures, but by this time I had reached the 30 day deadline for a refund. I finally got them to return it, with a $12.50 restocking fee.
