They also offer tactical armor carriers accessories that complement the other ballistic protection products they sell.

Ace Link Armor prides itself on making high-quality products at an affordable price. They rigorously test their ballistic protection because they know people’s lives regularly depend on their armor stopping bullets and knife blades.

As we continue in this article, we will learn the best Ace Link Armor products, what you should know before purchasing armor, why you should use Ace Link Armor, and the alternatives available.

Why you should listen to us

After speaking with several law enforcement officers, members of the US Military, and hours of researching body armor, I drew a few conclusions about the best Ace Link Armor products.

Several friends and family members have entrusted their lives to body armor and bulletproof vests. I have gained the knowledge and expertise from these individuals and applied it to this article.

Ace Link Armor Reviews

1. Quadrelease Plate Carrier

Ace Link Quadrealease Armor
The Quadrelease plate carrier accomodates 10×12″ armor panels front & back, and additonally accomodates two 6×13″ soft armor side panels for full 360 degrees protection.

By buying this plate carrier and plate bundle, you save money compared to buying all the items separately. The Quadrelease plate carrier offers front and backplate inserts and ballistic panels on the side for added protection. The panels are made with Aramid fibers from established manufacturers and outsourced for production into fabrics overseas. The front and back level 4 plates provide the most protection available by Ace Link Armor.

Other plate carriers don’t have the option for side plates. Nor do they provide the amount of customizability the Quadrelease offers because of the adjustable shoulder straps and MOLLE patches in the front, back, and side. The quick-release system makes putting the plate carrier on and taking it off quick and easy.

The Quadrelease is designed for law enforcement and military members. However, if you’re a hardcore tactical nerd, I wouldn’t look past the Ace Link Quadrelease plate carrier.

2. “Enhancer” Level 3A Concealable Body Armor

If plates and plate carriers are too bulky, then don’t look past the concealable body armor line by Ace Link Armor. It’s lighter and less intrusive than wearing a plate carrier. It’s also bullet and stab proof, with a level 3A rating, so that it can stop most handgun rounds.

The Enhancer stands out because it is concealable as well as stabproof. It also helps you look a little more fit while wearing it!

If you’re active military or law enforcement and a plate carrier is too apparent and bulky, then check out the Ace Link Armor Enhancer. I can’t forget about the EDC individuals; this would make an excellent addition to your EDC essentials because it is concealable.

3. Level 3A Ballistic Helmet Special Mission

Your head holds your most vital organ, so you better protect it from shrapnel and .44 magnum or smaller rounds to the best of your ability. The Aramid fibers give the helmet its rigidity and ability to be bulletproof.

The Special Mission helmet comes in several sizes and is fully adjustable to fit your head securely. A ballistic visor can be purchased separately and added to the helmet. All this protection and customizability at this price point is difficult to beat.

Military and law enforcement personnel will benefit most from this helmet. If the world were to become more chaotic and dangerous, this helmet would be a wise purchase for anyone interested in protecting their most precious organ.

4. Bulletproof Backpack

As we gather in large groups again, mass shootings are sadly becoming more common. Owning a bulletproof backpack can save not only your life but possibly others as well. The Ace Link Rapid Deploy bulletproof backpack is relatively inconspicuous until you need it for protection.

The rapid deployment design is a spectacular feature. You can go from a regular-looking backpack to front and back protection in a matter of seconds.

The Ace Link Armor backpack is perfect for college students and professionals who always have their pack within reach. At first, I thought this would be awesome for all students until I realized most school-age children must place their backpacks in a locker, and it won’t do much good there.

5. Tactical Range Belt

Are you tired of your EDC gear pulling your pants down? The Ace Link Armor Tactical Range Belt solves that problem. It’s rigid and laser-cut (even fits MOLLE), so you can carry what you need to without worrying about if it’s going to hold up.

The Cobra buckle secures the belt in place. The metal D-ring can be utilized as a climbing carabiner. You won’t have to worry about the stitching coming apart, as it’s hand-stitched and exclusively manufactured in Poland.

Because this belt has such a wide variety of uses, it is best for EDC, law enforcement, and military members. If you find your current belt not able to support the weight of your gear, then check out the Ace Link Armor Tactical Range Belt.

6. Concealed Body Armor T-Shirt

The Apex armor shirt easily fits under a button-down shirt.

Another superb option for concealable body armor is the Ace Link Armor APEX T-shirt. It has been tested to withstand .357 SIG and .44 Magnum, meaning it’s level 3A. It’s also stabproof where the soft insert is located.

The Apex t-shirt is the most concealable body armor offered by Ace Link Armor because it’s extremely thin. It comes with two plates, and the soft armor panels used are made in the USA, weatherproof, and flexible. The following are several features of armor to keep in mind while purchasing.

This shirt is perfect for anyone needing light body armor that’s easy to conceal. It’s an excellent option when you need to be discreet while wearing body armor.

Types of Ace Link Tactical Products

Ace Link Armor offers several different tactical products. The following are several of their available product offerings.

Armor Plates

With several different options, you can choose the level of protection that best fits you. Some Ace Link Armor plates also come in different sizes, ensuring you get the best protection possible from knives and bullets.

Plate Carriers

A plate isn’t any good without a plate carrier. Ace Link Armor has several different options to best suit your exact needs. They offer a couple of other color options, and they also have different styles available for purchase.

Body Armor

If you don’t need ceramic plates, check out their wide variety of bulletproof vests. With several styles to choose from, including some that are also stabproof, it shouldn’t be difficult to find what you’re looking for.

Ballistic Helmets

Protect your most vital organ with a bulletproof helmet. Ace Link Armor has several different styles and colors available. Tactical helmets help protect against shrapnel and are tested against handgun rounds that travel up to 1,200 ft per second, making them level 3A for protection.

Tactical Gear

Besides offering body armor and armor plates, Ace Link Armor has bulletproof backpacks, tactical belts, and tactical accessories such as medical and mag pouches, all for sale to the public.

The tactical accessories easily attach to the plate carrier, and you can customize it to fit your needs and style.

Important Ace Link Armor Features

Material

Body armor is typically made out of AR500 steel or a ceramic composite. The problems with AR500 steel are that it’s heavy, and when a bullet hits it, the bullet fragments go flying into your limbs, neck, or face. The ceramic composite plates are lighter and absorb the shot, so it stops in the plate. Both technologically advanced materials can endure multiple hits.

Fit

You want the plate carrier or bulletproof vest to fit snugly. The more it moves and rubs, the less likely you will wear it. You want the plates to cover your vitals from the front fully, back and sides.

Use Case

Military and law enforcement trust their lives to body armor daily. The average citizen doesn’t own body armor. However, this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t own it, especially with how crazy the world is becoming. Concealed body armor is an excellent way to protect yourself against a mass shooting.

Soft Armor vs. Hard Armor

Soft body armor and hard armor plates are not created equal. Soft armor is more flexible and lighter (it floats) while still being made of multiple layers, making them bullet and stabproof. However, hard armor offers a higher level of protection from larger rounds. So if you don’t have any threats from rifle rounds and want to be as comfortable as possible, then soft armor will be what you want.

Or if you need more protection, then go with hard armor.

Body Armor Threat Levels

As you have noticed, ballistic armor is often rated by levels. Level 3A (level iii a) will stop handgun rounds up to .44 magnum. Level 3 (level iii) plates will stop rifle rounds up to .308. Level 3+ (level iii+) will stop up to 6 shots of M855. As we step up to level 4 (level IV), it will stop up to .30-06 green tip armor-piercing rounds.

Why use Ace Link Armor products?

In this crazy political climate and with mass shootings back on the rise, it’s never a bad idea to protect yourself and your family. Ace Link Armor offers tactical defensive gear at an affordable price. Their body armor is independently tested at NTS Chesapeake Laboratory and meets NIJ specifications.

Alternatives

Don’t worry if Ace Link Armor doesn’t have what you’re looking for. There are a few other options worth checking out.

AR500 Armor

AR500 Armor offers many comparable products at similar prices to Ace Link Armor. They have a more extensive color selection for their backpacks, and they also provide AR500 steel targets which set them apart from Ace Link Armor.

Spartan Armor

Spartan Armor offers products that compare with Ace Link Armor and AR500 Armor. They differentiate themselves by congregating the NIJ Certified armor all in one place. This is comforting as a buyer because we can know the armor will do its job of stopping bullets.

Premier Body Armor

Premier Body Armor also has tactical products like the other companies listed. However, they have a more comprehensive selection than most, with solutions for most ballistic threats. Premier Body Armor manufactures bulletproof vests for dogs, wallets, laptop cases, 3-ring pencil pouches, and 3-ring binder covers. This expansive selection eases your mind knowing you have done everything possible to protect the ones you love most.

Price Ranges vs. Features

As the protection level increases, you can expect to pay $100 – $600 for ceramic body armor plates. If you bundle Ace Link Armor plates and plate carriers, you will get better discounts.

  • $100 Price Range. For $100, you will get level 3A protection against calibers up to .44 magnum. This price is only for one ultralight PE body armor plate, so be prepared to purchase another plate and a plate carrier.
  • $200- $250. As we move up to level 3, the curvature of the plate is an available feature, which provides more comfort than a flat plate. You can expect protection from rifle threats up to .308 with plates up to 1” inch thickness. This increased protection also comes at a weight increase of up to 3.5lbs.
  • $260 – $300. Level 3+ offers multi-curve plates for additional comfort and protection from rifle rounds up to 7.62. The level 3+ plates weigh just under 5lbs and under an inch thick. They are tested at NTS Chesapeake Laboratory. You can purchase level 4 ceramic-composite plates in this price range. Independently tested at the same laboratory as other Ace Link Armor plates, level 4 body armor is rated for multiple hits from armor-piercing .30-06 rounds.
  • $300 – $800+. Ace Link Armor bundles plate carriers and plates as we enter the $300+ range. As I mentioned previously, bundling these products will get you better discounts. It’s wise to bundle unless you already own a plate carrier because both are needed to obtain proper protection.

How we selected our recommendations

I wish I could get my hands on all the products we reviewed. However, that’s not financially possible. That’s why we depend on speaking with experts and spending hours researching the most accurate online reviews to hone in on the best products with uncompromised quality.

Rather than present a never-ending list of all the Ace Link Armor products on the planet, we selected those which we felt best represent the price points laid out above — giving you a solid representational list to serve as a jumping-off point for your own research (you are going to do you own research, right?)

To avoid disappointment or steering you in the wrong direction, we bolster our own experience with conversations with experts, comb through reviews on retailer sites & sales data, review industry publications, other blogs, and otherwise surface the best information available.

We aim for all thriller, no filler, as they say.

Conclusion

Ace Link Armor designs its products for law enforcement officers and military personnel. However, that doesn’t mean civilians can’t benefit from the ballistic protection offered by their vast array of gear.

Hopefully, you will never have to get the most out of your ballistic armor, but if you do, you will be happy that you had it when you needed it most in that life-threatening situation.
