Henry Repeating Arms started shipping their first new, factory-made guns in March 1997, meaning this month is the company’s 25th anniversary. Of course, the Imperato family have been around the gun industry for generations before that, running the iconic John Jovino gun shop in New York City back when Serpico was filming there, and founding the Colt Blackpowder Arms Company in 1993.

Today, Henry says they are the world’s leading lever action maker, and it is hard to argue with them on that point.
