Cabot Guns in Pennsylvania has been making some pretty far out 1911s over the past few years in addition to their regular fodder. For instance, back in 2017, they made a matching pair out of a meteorite, priced at a cool $4.5 million.

While the bespoke pistols surely didn’t cost that much to make, it is not like you are ever going to bump into someone at the range with the same gun, right? Plus, they are conversation pieces? “Hey, did you see that meteor gun?”

You get it.

Well, Cabot’s newest piece is the Moonshot which uses “rare lunar meteorites and extra-terrestrial materials” in its construction and has engravings of the solar system and the Apollo moon landings.

The special case is made by Atelier Victor, Paris. Cost is downright affordable by Cabot standards, just $250K. But if you want something really 2022, Cabot will mint an NFT of the Moonshot using the OpenSea platform which, when purchased, will be part of the Ethereum blockchain.
