New from CZ– which, with its Colt and Dan Wesson subsidiaries did not appear at SHOT Show a couple of weeks ago– is a new .22LR bolt gun, the CZ 457 VPT.
Based on the CZ 457 Varmint MTR rifle, the new VPT is a “Precision Trainer” series rifle that allows shooters to buy an affordable, match-chambered .22 that’s ready to compete in PRS style events right out of the box.
It has an adjustable Manners carbon-fiber composite stock as well as a cold hammer-forged and lapped 16.2-inch threaded barrel. MSRP is $1,635.
