The new gun seems to be a lot like the P365XL, at least in size and layout, but with a longer and redesigned frame that accommodates a flush-fit 17-shot magazine (as opposed to the P365XL’s 12 rounder). It also has an accessory rail, a Shield footprint optics cut, and the same sort of slide-based integral compensator as seen on the P365XL Spectre Comp. Sig says such comps cut recoil by 25 percent. Plus, it has swappable palmswell inserts, another first for the P365 line.
Cost starts at $799, and some will surely charge more once they become available, and this gun will surely be in demand.
