One of the best-known original handguns made by SIG (Swiss-based company, written in all capitals) was their Pistole 49, an extremely accurate single-stack single-action pistol that was soon adopted for niche military and police work around the globe.

Best known over here as the P210, Sig Sauer (U.S. based company, formerly of West Germany) marketed a Standard model of the gun a few years ago, followed by the Target series variant. Back in 2019 when the Standard was still in production (good luck finding them today), Sig teased a “Carry” model of the gun, tricked out with modern features light night sights, and Hogue grips.

Well, it only took three years, but Sig announced they have brought the P210 to market, price unknown.
