Smith & Wesson, rather than announcing yet another Sheild or M&P model, has something new– the Chief Special X, or CSX.

The Chief Special X, or CSX, is a single-action only (SAO) hammer-fired 10+1 9mm that is about the same size as a Sig Sauer P938.

The gun could prove interesting, especially for those who don’t want a striker-fired pistol.

MSRP is $599 but we’re already seeing pricing in the $549 range.
