Nodak Spud Retro Upper

NoDak Spud, a Minneapolis maker of retro AR receivers and parts with a good reputation, has apparently been acquired by Palmetto State Armory.

The company noted on its website that it is “moving to South Carolina to join the JJE family of companies (the best known of these is Palmetto State Armory) under the H&R (Harrington & Richardson) brand in a relaunch of this legacy firearms name.”

Of note, Palmetto acquired H&R as well as a host of other brands that were formerly household names from Remington at bankruptcy in 2020. Other names that went to PSA include Stormlake, Parker, and suppressor-innovator AAC—the folks that invented .300 Blackout.
