SDS VP12

In the world of semi-auto shotguns that feed on a detachable box magazine, everyone loves the Molot VEPR, a high-quality Kalashnikov-style scattergatt that was brought in from Russia between 2011 and 2017. However, as the days of new VEPRs being available at anything less than $1,300 smackers, the market is stagnant.

Enter the VP-12, a Turkish-made VEPR clone that is now being brought in by Tennessee’s SDS Imports at an asking price of around $400. If they work– Turkish shotguns have a haphazard reputation– and SDS brings in more than 50 of them, it could be the sleeper hit of 2022.
